2021 BFKS Activity Challenges
Activity Challenges are fun and engaging opportunities for you to get in the BFKS spirit. Complete the activity and share your proof by emailing us a short video or photo. You’ll earn a raffle ticket for that week’s prize drawing upon successful submission to our office.
Week 1: July 12 – July 18
ACTIVITY CHALLENGE:
Make Your Own OUTDOOR Bowling Alley
- Get those creative juices flowing and design your own outdoor bowling alley! Use any materials you’ve got around the house and outdoors—the more creative, the better! Take a video or photo and share your engineering feat with all of us at BBBS by sending to [email protected] by Sunday at 5 PM.
- Prize Opportunity: Receive a Week 1 Raffle Ticket for submitting a Bowling Alley photo or video. Winner will receive a local business gift card and be announced on Monday, July 19.
FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE:
5+ Donations on Your Individual Fundraising Page
- Keep the donations flowing, and try broadening your circle even more! Try to secure at least 5 new donations this week. Gifts can be large or small—what matters is getting more people involved. Take a photo of your pledge sheet and submit it to BBBS by Sunday at 5 PM to [email protected]
- Prize Opportunity: Receive a Week 1 Raffle Ticket if you secure at least 5 new donations on your individual page or pledge sheet (must be logged during Week 1). Drawing on Monday, July 19.
WEEK 1 PRIZES: We will draw two winners. Fundraising challenge drawing will receive a Mosaic Firepit w/ BBQ Grill and a BBQ Tool Set graciously donated by Colony Brands and Outdoor Bowling Alley will win a local business gift card.
Week 2: July 19 – July 25
ACTIVITY CHALLENGE:
Spirit Week
- Gather your team together, dress up in your most creative costumes and share your pictures! Send your photos to [email protected] by Sunday at 5 PM.
- Prize Opportunity: Receive a Week 2 Raffle Ticket for submitting your team photo. Winner will receive a local business gift card announced on Monday, July 26.
FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE:
Raise $100+ on Your Individual Fundraising Page
- Get your colleagues, friends, and family members to donate to your page, and try to raise at least $100 during Week 2. Don’t forget—your own donations can count here, too! Take a photo of your pledge sheet and submit it to BBBS by Sunday at 5 PM [email protected]
- Prize Opportunity: Receive a Week 2 Raffle Ticket if you raise $100 or more on your individual page or pledge sheet. Drawing on Monday, July 26.
WEEK 2 PRIZES: We will draw two winners. Fundraising challenge drawing will receive a black rocking chair with a “This Is Our Happy Place” decorative pillow graciously donated by Colony Brands and spirit week winner will win a local business gift card!
4 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Bowl For Kids’ Sake is welcoming businesses, organizations, clubs, community groups, families and individuals to get involved.
ADDITIONAL PRIZES FOR ALL BOWLERS (no drawing or raffle ticket required):
- Bowlers who raise $100 will receive a 4-pack of Blumers Root Beer
- Bowlers who raise $150 will receive a free BFKS T-shirt
- Bowlers who raise $300 or more will be entered into the grand prize drawing for a 55-in LG 4K Smart TV or a hanging hammock chair & stand in September
